Glam Archive: Vintage Designer Clothing in Bangkok
Glam Archive is a vintage designer clothing store based in Thailand. It offers rare, handpicked pieces that blend high-end fashion with personal style. The collection reflects a clear vision shaped by taste, culture, and a love for design.
Tucked away on the 8th floor of a quiet building in the heart of Bangkok, the Glam Archive physical store maintains a low profile.
It’s a curated space that feels more like a gallery. Every piece on display has been handpicked by Nic, the 26-year-old founder who’s turned his love of fashion and music into a one-of-a-kind archive of designer vintage clothing.
“If I wouldn’t wear it, I’m not putting it in the store.”
That’s the only rule Nic follows when selecting clothes for Glam Archive. It’s about instinct, personal taste, and bringing something different to the game. Every item reflects his own style. He’s not just stocking a store; he’s sharing a part of himself.
Nic’s journey into fashion started with music. Growing up in Phuket, he spent his teenage years absorbing the influential styles of artists like Lil Wayne, Soulja Boy, and A$AP Rocky. Their bold fashion choices and self-expression left a lasting impression.
“When I saw them in the music videos, I always thought it was super cool the way they dressed and expressed themselves through their clothes. And it was just super cool for me and that really made me feel excited. That really kind of put me onto this whole fashion thing and this whole lifestyle.”
Glam Archive quickly became a platform to offer people in Thailand access to pieces they couldn’t find anywhere else and to share an alternative take on fashion that goes beyond what’s in malls or mainstream streetwear.
While the store is intimate and low-key, Nic’s presence online is the opposite. He’s carved out a distinct, quick and playful editing style with straight-to-the-point commentary that smacks you in the face.
“As long as you do something that’s inspired from yourself, it’ll always stand out.”
Every reel, every post feels like a conversation with someone who genuinely loves what they do and wants you to love it too.
He draws inspiration from nightlife, friends in music, and the streets of Bangkok itself. The city’s energy has left a strong mark on him. He describes the constant movement, heat, and chaos of the city as something that helped shape his outlook and creativity. At the same time, Thai culture’s respectfulness influences the way he runs his business. No matter who walks through the door, Nic makes them feel welcome.
“It’s about giving people a good experience—something they’ll remember the next time.”
“I do feel like Bangkok has the potential to become the next Tokyo, or even, I’d go as far as to say that it could become the New York of Asia”
With the city’s creative scenes, from music and fashion to skating and streetwear, all rising at once, Glam Archive is positioned right at the intersection of it all. More than just a shop, it’s becoming a cultural touchpoint for those in the know. And as long as Nic keeps trusting his gut, there’s no limit to where it can go.
